A little place for a big sigh.

StinkClub is an independent website maintained by one person. Anyone can raise a Complaint without an account. It gets sorted into Categories, counted alongside similar Complaints, and placed on the Globe at a coarse location.

If your Complaint starts a new Stink in a Place, you can be First. If somebody has already raised it, your Complaint adds to the count. The payoff is seeing the pattern take shape.

A Tally counts published Complaints. It does not measure unique people, prove a claim, or represent everybody in a city. People choose whether to participate, and one person can submit more than once.

AI helps group Complaints and check them before publication. It can make mistakes. StinkClub does not forward Complaints to a company or agency, resolve disputes, or verify the events described. If you need an official response, contact the relevant service directly.

Some pages also show Public Record data published by official agencies. Those numbers stay separate from StinkClub's own Tallies. An imported service request never becomes a Stink, a Pulse, or a First.

Our research uses those published datasets to explain specific patterns, with sources and limitations beside the findings. StinkClub is independent of the agencies whose data it uses. Read the methodology .

Use the Report button on a Stink page to flag threats, private information, spam or other publication problems. A report goes to the moderation queue for review.

For a research correction, a broken button or a project enquiry, use the private contact form. Include the page address and what needs checking. You can leave a reply email if you want an answer. Your message stays separate from anonymous Complaints and Reports.

Published Complaints are public. Avoid names or details that could identify a private person. We store a browser token hash and a coarse Place, without creating an account. The privacy page explains the details .
